Team PsychCare attended the Annual Education Summit 2025, titled DARE to Transform: Mobilising Research for Equitable Education in Pakistan, a two-day national conference organized by Data and Research in Education (DARE) in collaboration with UK International Development, Oxford Policy Management, and Sightsavers.
The summit brought together researchers, policymakers, development practitioners, educationists, and sector experts to explore how evidence-based research can be mobilised to address inequities in Pakistan’s education system. Central themes included inclusive education, data-driven policymaking, disability inclusion, learning outcomes for marginalized populations, and translating research into scalable, context-responsive interventions.
Throughout the conference, discussions emphasized the need to bridge the gap between research, policy, and on-ground implementation, ensuring that educational reforms are informed by local evidence and responsive to diverse learner needs. Particular attention was given to equity-focused approaches that support children facing learning barriers due to disability, socio-economic disadvantage, or systemic exclusion.
For PsychCare, the summit strongly resonated with its ongoing commitment to inclusive education, psychological wellbeing, and child-centred support systems. The conversations reinforced the importance of integrating mental health, psychosocial wellbeing, and learning needs within education reform agendas, recognizing that meaningful educational equity cannot be achieved without addressing emotional, cognitive, and developmental dimensions of learning.
Participation in the summit reflects PsychCare’s broader engagement in research-informed practice, advocacy, and collaboration, and its continued efforts to contribute to education systems that are inclusive, humane, and responsive to the psychological and developmental needs of all learners.
